Yangtze Scenery here refers to the Yangtze sector between Chongqing and Yichang, including the world famous Three Goregs and some other sites.
Three Gorges starts from the White Emperor Town in Fengjie County, Chongqing Municipality, ends in Nanjin Pass, Yichang, Hubei Province, with a total length of 193km (120 miles), composed of Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge.
Among the three respective gorges, Qutang Gorge is famous for its magnificence and spectacular precipice, Wu Gorges is renowned for its secluded tranquility and Xiling Gorge known as the most dangerous gorge on Yangtze for there were many shoals underwater in past.
Famous sites: Fengdu--Ghost City, Shibao Pagoda, Zhangfei Temple, White Emperor Town, Lesser Three Gorges on Daning River, Shennong Minor Gorges, Three Gorges Dam Site, etc.
