Three Gorges Dam
Three Gorges Dam, is the second Yangtze Dam, and the biggest river dam in the world. It is situated in Sandouping, Yichang, Hubei Province, and 37 km away another famous Dam, the Gezhouba Dam.

Pelple who take upstream Yangtze Cruise tour will usually enjoy the dam on their first shore excursion, but for those taking downstream Yangtze cruise, will see the dam on last shore excursion.

A shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam takes 2-2.5 hours. Usually people from one Yangze cruise will be assigned into 4-5 big buses, each with a tour guide.
